There are usually 2 specific text parts of each post:

  1. An image with text overlay
  2. The caption

Fortunately, you can use AI (like ChatGPT) to generate both parts of your post using AI prompts.

For example, if you’re making a post about a product launch, you can tell AI:

“Write a Facebook post about a new product that [describe what your product does]. Include reasons why this product is superior to similar products on the market. Include a CTA prompting customers to [the goal of your CTA]."

AI will then develop a Facebook post that accomplishes whatever you described in your prompt.

However, if you overlay your post over an image, you'll also need to generate a caption for that image. Captions are usually short and to the point.

Use a similar prompt to the one you used to create your post to create a caption that'll encourage readers to take your CTA.

This process is super easy, but sometimes, it can be challenging to get ChatGPT and other AI tools to do what you want.

After your AI tool has produced text for you, go through it with a fine-tooth comb to ensure everything looks right. Here are some editing tips to ensure you get a great post every time:

  • Make sure the primary goal of your post was met
  • Check for grammar inaccuracies
  • Edit the flow of information to make it sound more human
  • Add specific details that AI didn’t add
  • Make sure it fits in with your brand's overall tone and voice on social media.

AI is excellent, but it’s still not a human. Editing anything it produces ensures that your brand stays as high-quality as possible.

It can be a little bit more challenging to get AI to understand the types of images you want to produce than it is with text. What if you can’t get AI to make the image you want?

Making your images is still an excellent option for those with a little (or a lot!) of design skill!

The best thing about making your images is that you can make them exactly like you want them.

You can create high-quality images for your Facebook posts in multiple places even if you have limited design skills.

Canva is a great option that is well-known for its ease of use. It provides design tools and premade templates that make creating customized images for any type of Facebook post easy and quick.

Another great option for using AI to write Facebook captions for you is to generate the image FIRST, then have AI analyze the image and come up with a caption for you.

ChatGPT can do this for you – just upload the image and tell ChatGPT that you want it to generate a Facebook caption based on the image.
